Neurofascial Approach to TOS & Carpal Tunnel
Upper limb nerve entrapment is seen on a daily basis, yet most interventions give only temporary relief. In this class you will learn to treat systematically those fascial restrictions, bony compressions, and neural tensions that underlie TOS, CTS, and related syndromes.

about the event
Upper limb nerve entrapment is seen on a daily basis, yet most interventions give only temporary relief. In this class you will learn to treat systematically those fascial adhesions, bony compressions, and neural tensions that underlie Thoracic Outlet and Carpal Tunnel Syndromes.
Fundamentally, we need to stop conceiving of nerves as ‘wires’ strung through a musculoskeletal world. Nerves and their related tissues precede the mature skeleton, and will drive muscular behavior for their own protection. We need a model that starts the physiologic needs of peripheral nerves -- ample circulation and free movement -- and then flexes with the various ecological crises that nerves encounter.
We need nerve palpation skills, and also a respect for the limits of palpation. We need neurodynamic tests that localize and characterize the entrapment at hand. We need a language that lets us work effectively with the whole healthcare team.
Think like a nerve, and you will have either success or illuminating failure.
